Turnov - monument to victims of wars

Between two important buildings in Skálova street, i.e. between Sokolovná and ZŠ popularly called "chlapárna", there is a monument dedicated to the victims of wars. The work consists of a bronze sculpture of a grieving mother and daughter, which stands on a granite-lined concrete plinth. The author of the monument is professor and sculptor Josef Drahoňovský. In subsequent years, additional dates were placed on the monument....: 1939 - 1945 and 1948 - 1989.
