Turnov - monument to Dr. Miroslav Tyrš
Monument to the founder Sokol, Dr. Miroslava Tyrša is located in Skálová street near Sokolovna. The work was realized according to the design of the professor of the School of Applied Arts in Prague, the sculptor Josef Drahoňovský. The monument consisting of a bronze statue, which is placed on a concrete plinth lined with Mrákotín granite, was ceremonially unveiled on September 18, 1932.
