Turnov - Paclt's smelter
The former Paclt smelter, which is located in close proximity to today's jewelry school, is the last surviving building from the district of the city called Sklenařice, which was named after the manufacturers of colored glass compositions. The owner of the smelter was Antonín Paclt, who was one of the largest and most successful producers and exporters both to Europe and across the ocean to America.
