Teplice - Orthodox Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The Orthodox Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was built in the years 1549 - 1568 as a castle, the Catholic chapel of the Exaltation of St. Cross for the families of the castle owners and spa guests. It was built in the late Gothic or early Renaissance style by the then owner of the Teplice manor, Volf of Vřesovice, who was the highest scribe of the Kingdom of Bohemia, and is also buried in the church.
