Plague column in Teplice spa

Most people call the Baroque column of the Holy Trinity the Plague Column. As in similar cases, this one was also built as an expression of thanks for averting the plague epidemic, which, however, mysteriously avoided the city of Teplice in 1713.
 
The work was created according to the design of the famous sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun, and it is said that this Column of the Holy Trinity in Teplice is his highest work of art ever.…
