In the middle of Žižka Square in Tábora, a Renaissance fountain with a sculpture of the knight Ronald, bearing the town emblem, was built in 1567-68 by stonemason Ondřej from Sušice. A sculpture of a knight, probably called by the locals after one of the Hussite governors Koudel or Koudelko, stands in the middle of the tank on a column with a Corinthian capital. The knight holds a banner in his hand, as a symbol of the city's market law. …
