Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the town of Tábor

The Roman Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord is located on the highest point of Žižkov Square in Tábor. The three-nave hall church is 46 meters long and twenty meters narrower. Its Gothic tower is less than 80 meters high, making it the tallest in South Bohemia.
 
The beginnings of the construction of the church are not documented, but it is assumed that it could have been around 1440. The vaulting of the church with a Gothic mesh vault and the overall completion…
