Syrenov

Syřenov - a village at the northern foot of Kumburk. The first written mention of the village is documented in 1533. The village is the birthplace of MUDr. František Cyril Kampelík, founder of rural savings associations - Kampeliček. In the village we can find Kampelík's house with a commemorative plaque, a monument to the victims of the 1st St. war, crucifixion monument, statue of St. Virgin Mary, a monument with an iron cross and a large number of preserved wooden cottages.
