Peaks of Jičínska 7. - Kumburk 642 masl

In the seventh journey along the peaks of the Jičín region, I will take you to the Kumburk hill near Syřenova. It is 642 meters above sea level and rises above the Jičín basin from the north. It is a dominant hill on which Kumburk Castle was built. The hill is shaped like a mound, which nowadays is covered with forest, but if we imagine that at one time the hill was bare, it is an ideal place to build a castle.
