St. John's rock wall

The imposing limestone rock wall rising 210 m above the surrounding terrain forms a monumental backdrop to the entire area and especially to the church of St. John the Baptist. The most massive rock outcrop in the Bohemian Karst juts out above the pilgrimage site Svatý Jan pod Skalou and forms a dominant feature that is optically perfectly combined with the baroque architecture of the church and adjacent buildings.
