Welder

A small village in the Svratka river valley. In the past, extensive mining mainly of iron ore. In the village there is an old miner's chapel, a wooden covered footbridge over the Svratka and the Švařec national natural monument (the largest continuous juniper stand in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands). On the northern edge of the village there is a massive building of the water treatment plant of the Vír region water supply.
Cycle route No. 4025 from Vír to Štěpánov passes through the village.
