Church of St. Peter and Paul in Štěpánov nad Svratkou

The first church in Štěpánov nad Svratkou was probably built sometime in the second half of the 2th century.
Roughly a hundred years later, a stone church was built, from which the presbytery with a Gothic cross vault is apparently preserved, while the nave was rebuilt several times after numerous fires.
The worst of them affected the village and the church in 1917 under pastor Lev Hlouch, when only a part of the interior was saved...
