The Strž waterworks is part of the Želivka water system and was built in 1952-1954 on the Stržské stream. Fish are kept in the reservoir for the purpose of sport fishing. The reservoir and its surroundings are used for recreation. The dam measures 240 m and is 10,2 m high. Area: 21 ha.
