The Strížovická well was built in 1695 by the then owner of the Chlumec manor. The well is 26,5 meters deep. The well was originally covered by a Baroque octagonal wooden building with a simple conical roof. It was then supplemented in the 18th century with an onion mine, a lantern and a belfry.
