Near Ústí nad Labem on a hill On a run near Chabařovice on June 16, 1426, the Hussites fought a victorious battle over the army of the Third Crusade of the Holy Roman Empire. It was one of the bloodiest battles in which nearly 4000 German mercenaries died. A monument was built on the hill in 1926 to mark the five hundredth anniversary of the battle.
