At the Bukov Roundabout in Ústí nad Labem stands a monument commemorating the biggest and worst tram accident in the history of Czechoslovakia and Europe. On the afternoon of July 13, 1947, tourists from Telnice were returning to Ústí nad Labem by tram. The brakes of the overcrowded tram set failed in the steep descent to Bukovo, the tram crashed. 30 people died in the accident, 45 were seriously and 31 slightly injured.…
