Střední vrch (593 m) is a prominent basalt hill, located about 1 km northeast of Dolní Prysk. A prominent rocky outcrop protrudes from its summit, according to which the hill was sometimes popularly called Hranáč or Skála. Steep, jagged rock walls are often formed by basalt columns, the slopes below are covered by partially overgrown scree fields, which were home to rare species of mosses and ferns.
