Břidličný vrch (499 m) is an elongated forested ridge, located about 1,5 km east of Horní Kamenice between the valleys of Pryské potok and Kamenice. It consists of a bell-shaped body, of which the neighboring Pustý zámek was once a part. However, when the Kamenice river gradually deepened its valley, it broke through a narrow rocky gorge in a stronger sound, which today separates the rocky promontory of Pustý chateau.
