Shields-baroque plague column with a statue of the Virgin Mary

In the park on náměstí Míru in Štíty, there is a Baroque plague column with a statue of the Virgin Mary behind the current town hall. A statue of the Virgin Mary with Child is mounted on the composite capital of a smooth column. The prismatic base is decorated with the head of St. John of Nepomuck, with two monograms and a symbol of the five wounds of Christ.
