At first glance, one could say that the statue was created in the Baroque period. But when one approaches the statue, it is clear that it is many years younger. The statue was created in 1941, i.e. during the Second World War. It was necessary to import four pieces of Hořice sandstone and we could start. In the first phase, the stonemason Strejček undertook the work, who carried out rough processing. The sculptors, Antonín Berka and Rudolf Hájek, gave the statue the final…
