Slánská hora (330 m above sea level) is a natural landmark of the city. Together with the nearby Vinařická Hora, they represent the southernmost outcrops of volcanic activity in the Český středohoří. There are many interesting places in the protected area: a cave, a quarry, an educational trail and rare forest-steppe communities.
