Sacrifice stone

Reviews

On the western slope of Slánské hora, on the Educational Trail, lies a large quartzite boulder. Today referred to as a sacrificial stone. It is probably one of the two menhirs that stood on top of the mountain in the past. When large wooden crosses were built here in the 17th century, the menhirs were thrown down. Near the sacrificial stone, a famous salt spring arose, after which the city got its name.
