Slaný - Fountain on Masaryk square

The sandstone fountain from 1825 (modified in 1873) is decorated with lion heads and stands under linden trees on the west side of Masaryk Square. It stands on the site of the original fountain from 1529. The fountain was restored in 2006, on the occasion of the visit of the four presidents of the Visegrad Four countries. This event is commemorated by plaques in its corners.
