Another type for you on an easy trip in South Bohemia can be the Semenec observation tower. You can find it just 2 km (following the red tourist sign) from the center of Týn nad Vltavou or 11,5 km from Bechyně. It is of course also accessible by bike or car.
The Semenec lookout tower resembles a lookout building rather than a lookout tower. Even so, its location offers a wonderful view of the surroundings, of the flowing Vltava in the valley below...
