Rosicky-Oslava region - Zbýšovská halda

It is located northeast of Zbýšov behind the former Jindřich and Antonín mines and rises significantly above the surrounding landscape. It was created during the 20th century by the gradual balancing of tailings during the mining of the local hard coal. The height of this vast pile reaches more than 40 m, its length is 500 m and its width is 250 m.
