Rokole (Bohdašín) – Stations of the Cross and Loreto

The wooden object of Loreta and the stone forest Way of the Cross are an integral part of the Rokole pilgrimage site, located in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains, near the East Bohemian village of Bohdašín and therefore also not far from Nové Město nad Metují.
The Way of the Cross with 14 Stations of the Cross was built in 1874, thanks to the financial support of the surrounding municipalities and local residents, whose names are engraved on the side of some of the stations.…
