It was built at the expense of the Rajhrad monastery under the provost J. Pitra in 1760. It is a stone bridge with three pillars and icebreakers. It was designed and built by Viennese engineer Josef Aneis. The bridge was originally decorated with five statues and a stone cross by the Viennese sculptor K. Nösmann.
