Old Rajhrad sawmill

The local water saw building was restored on older foundations by Benedictine monks under the provost of Bonaventura Pitra in 1763. The year of repair of this local technical interest was described on a stone slab placed here in 1795, on the side wall of the building. In the Czech translation it read: "Otmar stops the waters flowing for 32 years - he had this work restored again. Leopold 1795".
