The village of Ptení is in Central Moravia in the foothills of the Drahanská vrchoviny, 14 km west of Prostějov. You can get to Ptení by taking the road from Prostějov to Boskovice, after turning right in Víčov. The castle is in the center of the village and visible from afar.
