The Větřkovice water reservoir is located in the Podbeskydská hornatina region, eastward from the village of the same name Větřkovice and westward from the town of Hukvaldy. The water reservoir was built on the course of the Svěcené brook and is used for recreational purposes. The Hůrka hill (441 masl) rises above the eastern bank of the dam. The water surface of the reservoir serves as a natural swimming pool, on the shore there is a grassy beach...
