Trnávka Dam

The Trnávka dam is located about 10 km north of Pelhřimov, it is built on the river Trnava near the town of Želiv in Vysočín. The Trnava Reservoir has the task of capturing runoff from the Trnava basin and preventing it from entering the Švihov water reservoir. The dam is often visited by divers, especially those who love technical diving. A part of the reservoir near the village of Červená Řečice is used as a natural swimming pool. In these places we can find groomed beaches on the banks of the dam. Services are provided by recreation centers located on the banks of the Trnávky reservoir.
