Parížov Reservoir

The Pařížov Dam is located about 4 km south of Třemošnice, on the Doubrava River. It is a stone dam which remains hidden for the uninitiated in the Doubrava river valley in the Chrudim region. The dam has grass banks. It is a technical monument. The original purpose was to protect against floods and improve the flow in dry periods, currently it is still used for the production of electricity. The reservoir is also used by the local organization of the Czech Fishing Association Běstvina as Sports water. Accommodation in the vicinity of Doubrava offers the cottages and cottages shown below.
