Pilgrimage place Mount Říp
Říp (460,7 m) is a mountain visible from afar with a Romanesque rotunda at the top, rising from the plain 5 km south of Roudnice nad Labem. A memorable place of Czech mythology and history. Říp is a basalt mound - a remnant of a Tertiary volcano - today considerably reduced by weathering, with thick rubble layers at the foot.
