Monument to V. Splitková
There is this commemorative plaque near the dam of the Kamenice (Josefodolská) dam, on the ridge between Jelení and Hluboký potok. The frozen body of a thirty-four-year-old girl was found here on March 2, 1968 by two forest workers. She was mentally ill and lived with her parents in Liberec. On February 28, she left with eight crowns for the usual shopping at the dairy. No one knows why she bought a ticket to Josefova Dol at the station with the remaining money,...
