Oslavany is a small originally mining town with 4500 inhabitants, located on the border of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands and the Dyjskosvratecký valley. Oslavany is located northwest of Ivančice and southwest of Brno. The nearby village of Padochov is part of the city as its local part.
