Parish Church of St. Nicholas in Oslavany

The oldest written mention of the parish church in Oslavany dates back to 1320. At that time, of course, it was only an austere longitudinal Cistercian building, glazed on the central column and without an apse.
From 1769, the local parish priest Jakub Friedrich started rebuilding the church, but later he had to deal with significant financial difficulties when Emperor Joseph II ascended the throne. and canceled, among other things, the Oslavana monastery.
