It is located on a prominent promontory above the left bank of the Tiché Orlice near the J. Á Memorial. Comenius in Brandýs nad Orlicí. The first mention of it comes from 1311, but it is already mentioned as deserted at the end of the 14th century. He belonged to the Crusaders of the Holy Sepulcher from the monastery in Prague at Zderaz.
