Brandýs nad Orlicí - castle

It is located on the eastern edge of the city. It is a one-story rectangular building with a mansard roof. It was built around 1781 in the Baroque style, which was then modified in the Neo-Renaissance style in 1817-20. The current neo-baroque form of the chateau dates from 1914 according to the plans of A. Dlabač. A small park adjoins the castle, at the head of which stands a dominant commemorative red beech.
