Orešník – an important vantage point to the NPR Jizerskohorská bučyna

The rock dominant Orešník (800 m above sea level) two kilometers from the village of Hejnice on Liberecko is one of the most important viewpoints to the main part of the National Nature Reserve of the Jizera Mountains. From the lookout there is a wide view of Frýdlant, Hejnice, Spruce, Ptačí vrchy and Poledník. A cross is built on its top, which can be reached by steps carved into the rock.
