Opava, Horní náměstí, Silesian Theater
One of the landmarks on Horní náměstí in Opava is the Silesian Theater. It was built in 1804-1805. The reconstruction took place in 1882-1883. The building suffered a fire at the beginning of the 20th century. After that, the interior needed to be adapted again.
General reconstruction took place in 1990-1992. Currently, there are two troupes in the Silesian Theatre, a drama and an opera.
