Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Opava
This probably the largest Silesian brick (red) Gothic building in Czech Silesia dominates the city from almost all sides. Today it is the co-cathedral of the bishopric of Ostrava - Opava.
The temple was founded in the 13th century. It has the highest church tower (102 m) in our part of Silesia.
