The Ottawa River has gold but no source. At least that's how it's written on the smart internet and in smart books. So is it created by the confluence of Křemelná and Vydra or is it really born somewhere?
 
I don't remember when the waters of Křemelná and Vydra met here for the first time, and probably neither does Čeněk Bubeníček. Maybe the waterman might know. But who knows? Šumava is one of the oldest mountain ranges in Europe. Čenko sawmill at the confluence of the river...
