Pictures from Šumava – Accumulation reservoir Vydra and Water Castle

This reservoir is located near the settlement of Sedlo under Sedelský vrch above the village of Srní. Its area is 1,5 ha and it holds approx. 67 m³ of water, which flows into it through an underground pipe from the navigation channel. The length of the underground converter is 000 km.
 
From the reservoir, the water continues its journey through another pipeline (converter) to the equalization chamber of the so-called Water Castle, from where it awaits its final journey through a 900-meter-long...
