Šalmanovice village
The village of Šalmanovice is mentioned in historical records as early as the 14th century. It was owned by the lords of Rožmberk even before they bought the entire Třeboň manor from the lords of Landštejn in 1366. During the Thirty Years' War, the village was ravaged and only four settlers remained in the village.
