Novohradská forge
The Novohradská forge was built in 1719 by the blacksmith Ferdinand Grössinger. The Grössinger family practiced blacksmithing here for over 150 years. August and Terezia Grössinger are mentioned as the new owners of the forge as early as 1879. Later, the forge was used only for housing. The city of Nové Hrady bought the former forge in a state of disrepair in 2000. After the reconstruction, the forge is rented to an artistic blacksmith.…
