Nová Bystřice, plague column on Náměstí Miru.

A very interesting and beautiful sacral building of the city is the plague column in the eastern part of Náměstí Míru. It is said to have been made by the sculptor Zikmund Lichtenberg in 1676. It was placed on the square three years later. The column was damaged in a fire in the city, but was restored again. In 1837 it was repaired again and also gilded.
