Nová Bystřice, church of St. Catherine.

The above church was originally part of the local cemetery. It was built in the Renaissance style around 1585. The building also contains elements of late Gothic. The church was built by Vilém from Krajek. Its current appearance is from the rebuilding in 1685-1686, when the Baroque already reigned. In 1771, a sacristy was added and in 1842, a chapel was built. The church underwent major repairs in 1888.…
