As can be seen from important archaeological findings, the landscape around Nezvěstica was already inhabited in the Bronze Age. In the nearby forest of Svárči, archeologist František Franz discovered burial mounds in the 19th century, and valuable finds from the uncovered mounds were placed in the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen.
