Nesovice – Our Lady of Lourdes

The statue of the Virgin Mary near Nesovice is not old at all (1884), yet even in such a short time it was in danger of succumbing to total destruction. The reason was relatively simple. The statue was colorful. Actually, it's nothing unusual, in the past it was quite common for statues to be painted. And it's not a short practice.
