Mezno - the southernmost village of the Region of Blanické rytířů - got its name from the landmarks used to demarcate the land. Its location on an important country road contributed to the development of the village. And also the connection with Borotín Castle, under which it fell. It was first commemorated in 1517, although the oldest written mention of the village is from 1469. By the way, this September the village is preparing celebrations...
